Dion Kelly-Evans gets full time football call-up, Charlie Waller to stay, Ozzy Othman is dual-registered

Dion Kelly-Evans, who was signed to Banbury United in early November as a replacement for injured right back Jack Tompkins, has accepted an approach from a National League club to return to full-time football and has left the Club. Dion joined Banbury United following his own return from a long term injury and his performances attracted the attention of the league above. His new team will make an announcement, shortly, once his league registration is completed.

Thank you, Dion, for your service to Banbury United and good luck with the rest of your season. We hope to be able to give news on Jack Tompkins’ return to fitness soon.

The Club is pleased to announce that defender Charlie Waller’s one month loan period is extended. Charlie, Banbury United and MK Dons are happy to continue the current arrangement due to the player development opportunity being offered at Banbury and Charlie’s marked contribution to the team.

Ozzy Othman has been training with the Banbury United squad for a while and was registered with Banbury United a couple of weeks ago. In order for Ozzy to get game time and to further his development, he has been dual-registered with Thame United FC.

Further player announcements will be made shortly.
