Banbury took the lead in the first half at Salisbury, Malachi Farquharson scoring in a breakaway attack. Banbury competed well and looked dangerous on the break but a different Salisbury side came out in the second half. They took just seven minutes to equalise and seven minutes after that were 3-1 ahead as they overpowered Banbury. An injury time goal completed the scoring.
