
The 27 year-old striker whose height is reported to be anything between 6 foot 7 inches and 6 foot 10 inches has been with Leighton Town since October 2011.
He first gained experience of Southern League football with Premier Division Hitchin Town in the first half of season 2007/08 but was released in December 2007, whereupon he moved to South Midlands Premier Division side Biggleswade United for regular football.
He started season 2009/10 with a short spell at St Neots Town and had a similarly short spell at Aylesbury United before joining Isthmian League side Merstham in September 2009 establishing a reputation that earned a move to Southern League high-flyers Farnborough two months later though after just a few appearances he was moved on to Leatherhead.
Leon began season 2010/11 with Conference South side St Albans City and played in their first three league games of that season before being released at which point he joined Southern League Brackley Town, playing for them during September 2010. A move to Barton Rovers followed in October 2010 and he stayed there until February 2011 when he joined Rugby Town.
He joined Conference South side Hampton & Richmond Borough at the start of season 2011/12 but after not getting into their first team had a short spell with Daventry Town at the end of September 2011 before opting to move to Leighton Town the following month.
