The club can confirm that the following players have now signed Southern League forms to play for Banbury United for the coming season.

Re-signing from Last Season:

Marvin Martin
23 year-old left sided defender or midfielder who is a former Oxford United scholar and initially joined Banbury United on work experience from them for the start of season 2009/10, the move subsequently being made permanent when he was released by the then Conference club. He then moved on to Oxford City in March 2011 and was a member of their Southern League promotion winning side of 2011/12. Opted to return to Banbury in October 2012. Has made more than 150 appearances for the club, more than any other current squad member.

Carl Tappin
18 year-old midfielder who impressed in the reserve side last season which earned him a place in the first team squad towards the end of the campaign. Made his first team debut in March 2014 and will be looking to establish himself as a regular in 2014/15 to add to the 13 appearances that he made in the final two months of last season.

Tanasheh Abrahams
19 year-old central defender or midfielder who came through the youth system at Barnet Football Club. Spent two months on loan with South African Premier League side Mameladi Sundowns in season 2012/13. Joined United in September 2014 and made 28 appearances for the club through to the end of last season.

Melanius Mullarkey
22 year-old right back or right wing back who joined the club from Bedworth United in February 2014. Previously played for Long Buckby and Rugby Town.

Lewis Strafford
21 year-old full back who joined the club in January 2014. Played for Berkhamsted prior to joining Banbury and prior to that was at Olney Town, AFC Kempston Rovers, Irchester United and St Neots Town.

New players:

Odunayo Oke
21 year-old midfielder who has previously played for New Bradwell St Peter, Buckingham Town, Cranfield United and St Albans City.

Nkosi Mzungwana
23 year-old midfielder who has previously played for Coventry United and Long Buckby.

Dean Torto
28 year-old winger who spent last season with Buckingham Town in the United Counties League. Previously with Olney Town and MK Wanderers.

Craig Maisiri
20 year-old midfielder or forward who was with Leighton Town prior to joining Rugby Town in February 2013. Returned to Leighton in September 2013. Was previously part of the MK Dons academy.

Joseph Osyemi
19 year-old centre back who was previously with Dulwich Hamlet as a youth player.

Lawrence Nuamah
31 year-old goalkeeper who has played for South Midlands League side Old Bradwell United for the previous two seasons.

Gavin Connor
26 year-old local player who was a regular in the United reserve side as a teenager. Has returned to the club this season in a coaching role. Has also played for Broughton & North Newington, Easington Sports and more recently Oxfordshire Senior League side Adderbury Park. Can play at full back or wide midfield.

In addition the club is working to obtain international clearance for two players:

1. 21 year-old central defender Tom Ryan who joined Banbury in October 2012. Prior to this he had spent two years with Swindon Town playing for their youth and reserve sides and had previously been on the books of Leicester City and Coventry City. After being released by Swindon he took up a football scholarship in the US prior to playing on a short term contract with Gotene IF, a side playing in the fourth tier of Swedish football. Left Banbury in March 2014 for a further stint in the US, playing for Temecula in California.

2. 23 year old Spanish defender Pablo Paelaz Naredo who has played for Spanish clubs Universidad Oviedo and Caudal Deportivo.
