Vacancies: Exciting ways to get involved in the Club’s media team

Vacancies: Exciting ways to get involved in the Club’s media team

. Banbury United21 Oct 2024 - 11:09

We are still looking for volunteers to take on manageable tasks (as much time as you can give) and be part of our fun team

Following on from our recent appeal for a Social Media & Content Manager, we are still on the look-out for help, and would like to hear from anyone who thinks this might be for them.

We’re very open-minded to the duties of this role to be split and undertaken by a number of volunteers, especially for those who are concerned they might not have enough time, or for those who would like to develop their skills in one particular area.

Do you think you could help us with any of the following?:

  • Social media post writing and publishing – Facebook, X, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Website article writing (and editing of others’ articles), on football and/or general Club news.
  • In-match commentary posts on X to keep fans informed. (Own transport required for some matches.)
  • Filming and editing of videos and reels for social media and You Tube.
  • Back-up photographer for home matches.
  • Developing interesting content around the first team, e.g. player interviews, match build-up.
  • Social media community management: regularly checking Facebook, X, Instagram and Linked In for notifications and messages, engaging as appropriate.
  • Repurposing of matchday programme content as website articles and for socials.

There is help on hand from an enthusiastic, established team of comms volunteers. If you are looking to develop a career in football media or are a digital-savvy person wanting to donate time and skills to their local football club and would like a chat, then please get in touch with Claire via clairedumbreck@banburyunitedfc.co.uk.
