It's been a tough week for the club but last night’s AGM saw a great turnout of 80 of member/owners. There was appreciation of the presentation by the Board showing how we had performed against the last year’s objectives and the priorities for this season and beyond. The approved accounts for 2021-22 showed a healthy position.

The meeting was attended by all sections of our fan base. At times there were frank, hard hitting discussions. But this was undoubtedly due to all attending caring passionately about our club, one that has quite simply risen to great heights and faced challenges along the way. Renewed fan engagement was highlighted and will be actioned in the coming weeks, the Board recognised the commitment of supporters and took on board their feedback.

The fantastic performances of the team, our community work, our brilliant volunteers and fan base and progress in and around the ground were all highlighted, sadly these will not gain the media attention of the other issues which we will not shy away from.

The challenges ahead were discussed but the energy and passion of those present demonstrated that, together, these can be overcome.
