As you approach The Spencer Stadium tomorrow, for our pre-season fixture versus Potters Bar at 1pm, do admire the newly renovated roof that is now protecting The Spencer Clubhouse.

The condition of our roof deteriorated rapidly over the last autumn and winter to the point where repairs could be put off no longer. Our ability to hold events in this community venue was severely threatened and a full renovation was needed. Following an appeal, the people of Banbury dug deep, alongside local business and Banbury Charities, to offer donations, without which we would really have struggled to fund the work.

The team at Limitless Roofing, led by Tom Reeves, completed the work this week, under very hot conditions. If the much-needed rain ever arrives, we should be more than ready to take it on!
