Commenting on the deal, Banbury United’s Commercial director Mark Allitt said “I’m extremely pleased that Work Area Ltd are extending their sponsorship and that their Managing Director Neil Hancox is putting his faith in us by signing a two-year extension. It gives the club great confidence to plan ahead when our sponsors sign deals such as these.”
Neil Hancox was delighted to continue his sponsorship of the iconic end of the ground and added “I was delighted to have my company’s name associated with the club and especially the Town End last season. Mike Ford and the players have had a great first season back in the Southern League Premier and it was important for me that I acknowledged the progress the club is making and show my support to Banbury United moving forward. I’m looking forward to seeing the club progress further.”
Commenting on the news, Banbury United chairman, Ronnie Johnson said “I can’t thank Neil Hancox enough for his tremendous support to us at Banbury United. To have his backing for the next two seasons is great news for the club and our supporters.”
