Biography
Appointed Banbury United manager in January 2024. Banbury born, Kevin made 61 appearances as a striker for United in the late 1970s, scoring 19 goals, before moving to Derby County in December 1979 for what is still today a club record fee received by Banbury of £20,000. Kevin went on to make a total of 602 Football League appearances, scoring 149 goals, playing for Derby County, Ipswich Town, Chelsea, Notts County, Bradford City, Walsall and Northampton Town and earned 42 international caps for Northern Ireland. Moving into management at the end of his playing career, he led Northampton Town to promotion to the Second Division at the end of season 1999/2000 and later managed Bedford Town, Aylesbury United, Kettering Town, Hucknall Town, Corby Town, Ilkeston and Nuneaton Town.
