The first twenty minutes gave no indication of the three goal blitz that was to come being rather uneventful.
However, at this point United began to have the better of the game and went ahead on 24 minutes when Ricky Johnson lifted the ball over the Kings Langley back line for George Jeacock to run onto down the right hand side of the penalty area and he got there ahead of the advancing Danny Boness in the Kings Langley goal with the Oxford United loanee neatly lobbing the ball over the custodian into the back of the net.
Four minutes later Conor McDonagh was put through by a neat ball from Callum White down the left hand side of the Kings Langley penalty area before smashing the ball home with venom from 12 yards from a narrow angle high into the back of the net.
Just two minutes later and it was 3-0 when a short corner on the right taken by Zac McEachran to Jeacock saw the ball returned to the kicker who then crossed the ball into the centre where the incoming Ricky Johnson headed home with power into the top corner of the net from the edge of the six yard box.
Kings Langley had a lot of the ball in the second half but Banbury were always in control and except for the final few minutes when the visitors went close on a couple of occasions it was basically the proverbial non-event.
The three points moves Banbury up to fifth place in the Southern League Premier Division table
