Alex Babos, Jack Harding and Sam Brown commit for next season.

The club is delighted to confirm 3 more players have signed on for the 2022/23 season.

Jack Harding and Alex Babos have agreed new contracts with the club and Sam Brown has also agreed new terms.

This will be the ever dependable Sam Brown’s third season at the club with his energy down the left hand side and long throws set to be a danger for our opponents.

Sam said “Delighted to have re-signed, the chance to play at a new level, for the gaffer for another year and in front of the Banbury fans made it an easy decision for me. Looking forward to what hopefully will be another successful season for the club!”

Local lad Jack Harding is set to return for his eighth season with the club, being the longest serving player at the club.

Jack had this to say upon signing “Over the moon to sign for another year, There isn’t anywhere else I want to play my football. When Whingy said that he wanted me to sign again for this year that’s all I needed to hear. We’ve got a great group of lads, staff and amazing support and I truly believe together we can have a really exciting season at this next level”

Alex Babos joined at the beginning of last season and quickly established himself in the heart of the midfield with some brilliant displays.

Alex had this to say upon signing “After the success of last season it was a no brainer. It’s a top group of lads we’ve got here and I’m looking forward to continuing the momentum into this season.”

Manager Andy Whing had this to say about the 3 players.

“Jack has been fantastic for this football club and we’re delighted Jack has signed again for the upcoming season. We’ve got 2 very good keepers at the club who will push each other on.”

“Sam has been a brilliant signing for us and we’re delighted he’s staying with us for another year. His consistency and energy down the left hand side has been really important for us and we’re looking forward to that continuing”

“Since Joining us late last pre season Alex has been an integral part of the team and has got better and better. He’s another player that we believe can improve and has a great hunger and appetite to get better and better.”
