Dashwood Apartments isn’t just a local business – it’s a warm extension of a family that’s been part of Banbury’s hospitality scene since 1994. At the heart of it is Izzy Dugglebly, whose passion for people and her hometown shines through everything she does.
Izzy grew up in Banbury. Her parents, Anna and Paul Galvin, who are known to many in the town, ran the Banbury House Hotel before selling it in 2014. Though Paul sadly passed away two years ago, the family’s legacy lives on through Dashwood Apartments – fully serviced residences offering a hotel-like experience with the freedom to cook and relax like home.
Izzy returned to Banbury after meeting her husband Ryan at Newcastle University, where she earned a music degree. Ryan now serves on the Board of Directors at Banbury United, a role that reflects the couple’s deep connection to the Club and community.

“We have already had business through our links with Banbury United and I’m keen to encourage our guests to watch a home match, as many people stay with us long term and are looking for things to do,” says Izzy. “Locals should give us a call to get the best long-term rates and discounts. Please consider us the next time you have visiting relatives looking for somewhere to stay - and don’t forget to mention you know us through Banbury United.”
“The atmosphere at Banbury United is amazing,” Izzy says. “It’s great seeing the passion people have for the town and the football. There’s a real community feel down there.”
