Last season’s prices maintained; launch of new family season ticket; early bird season ticket sales open until July 15th.

The Club is now able to confirm prices for matchday and season tickets for the twenty-three 2023-24 season home games of the Vanarama National League North.

We’ll be maintaining last season’s prices and introducing a new reduced price family season ticket. Early bird offers are available for members across every season ticket-type until July 15th.

In a new initiative for the forthcoming season, the Club will offer every local primary school a transferable family season ticket, intended for rotated distribution among their school community as they see fit.

Prices are as follows:

Matchday Tickets
Adult - £15
Concession - £11
Student - £8
Under 18 - £5
Under 11 - £2

Season Tickets (early bird price for members shown in brackets)

Adult - £275 (£250)
Concession - £200 (£180)
Student - £145 (£125)
Under 18 - £90 (£75)
New family season ticket - £450*

Season tickets are available to purchase online now, here:

Or via completing a hard copy form, downloadable here.

Non-transferable season tickets will cover all 23 home matches of The Vanarama National League North. For adult members attending every home league game, a season ticket will reduce the cost of entry from £15 to £10.87 per match, a saving of £4.13 per game and £95 over the season. Concession members with season tickets can attend matches for just £7.83 per match, saving £73 over the season.

* The new family season ticket comprises two named adult season tickets and two named children’s (for those under 18 up to the end of the season) season tickets, when they are purchased together as one transaction. Family season ticket holders may attend matches individually; however only children aged 14 and over may enter the ground without an accompanying adult. The tickets are non-transferable. The family season ticket represents a saving of £50 over two individual season tickets for adult members, and a reduction of up to £20.43 per match based on a family of two adults and two U18s paying full price ticket prices (£19.57 entry compared to £40). That’s an annual season ticket saving of up to £280 for the family. There is no early bird member price for the family season ticket.

These early bird prices are available as of today to current (2022-23 season) Club members who purchase season tickets from the website, before July 15th.

Details of 2023-24 Club membership will be announced shortly and on sale as of July 1st. At this point, new members may take advantage of the early bird offer until the closing date of July 15th. Season tickets will remain on general sale at the full price after July 15th.

“Buying an early bird season ticket is a smart move for members. It’s a great way to maximise their membership and support for the Club,” says Ronnie Johnson, Chairman of Banbury United Football Club. “We very much hope supporters will recognise this as a great way to support The Puritans as we head into the 2023-24 season.

“As a community-owned Club with family values at the heart of everything we do, we are delighted to launch a family season ticket for this coming season. The cost of a family day out can be quite prohibitive these days and we want to make sure that a visit to the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium is as affordable as possible. We look forward to welcoming new fans to the ground.

“A focus on families and young supporters is also behind our new school initiative where we are offering one transferable family season ticket per local primary school. As a Club, we are committed to deepening our relationship with local schools, supporting the football and multi-sports coaching provision we already deliver and are looking to further expand,” concluded Ronnie Johnson.

Local Banburyshire schools interested in a family season ticket, providing entry for two parents or guardians and up to three U18s, should contact communitycoach@banburyunitedfc.co.uk to arrange a free pass for their school.

Season tickets will be available for collection at the Oxford City and Maidenhead pre-season friendlies at home, and posted thereafter, in advance of the first home match of the Vanarama National League North season.

U18 entry

The launch of the family season ticket is designed to attract more youngsters to the Club, right up to the age of 18. Their attendance, whether with adults, or unaccompanied, is highly valued.

We would like to remind parents and children that children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

We ask teenagers and young adults to consider honesty and personal integrity when purchasing tickets. The extraordinarily high number of U18 tickets sold each matchday this season has not reflected the composition of the crowd and as a result, the Club has suffered from a concerning loss of income from adult-price tickets. It is not fair to fellow supporters who contribute fully to the Club if fans are purchasing an U18 ticket for which they do not qualify.

This coming season, young adults can expect to be challenged on their age at the turnstiles to help address this issue.

We know this is not an easy area to police as the U18 age group typically does not have access to meaningful ID. We hope that our youngsters can assist the Club and select the appropriate ticket, avoiding our volunteer ground staff being put in a difficult position.

Thank you.
